Zero-tolerance policy
Law Society of Northern
Ireland staff have the right to work in an environment free from violent,
threatening, or abusive behaviour.
The Society takes a zero-tolerance
policy towards abuse and threats made towards staff and will terminate any
telephone call or other communication that it considers abusive.
Where
necessary the Society may refer abusive individuals to the Police Service of
Northern Ireland (PSNI).
