The NOW Group will be the Society’s charity of the year
The President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland, Colin Mitchell has announced that the NOW Group will be the Society’s charity of the year.
NOW Group is an award-winning social enterprise supporting people with Autism, hidden disabilities, and neurodiverse conditions into jobs with a future. The Group offer a range of solutions to businesses including JAM Card for Business, run Loaf Cafés and catering across Belfast and Dublin, deliver recruitment and supported employment placements in a variety of industries and provide a social impact measurement tool.
Commenting the new President said:
“The Law Society of Northern Ireland is delighted to have chosen the NOW Group as its charity of the year. We look forward to working with them to raise awareness and funds in support of the excellent work which they undertake”.
Maeve Monaghan, Chief Executive of Now Group said:
“We are delighted that the Law Society of Northern Ireland have chosen NOW Group to be their Charity of the Year 2025. As a social enterprise, we are dedicated to championing diversity and equality for all, however, we can’t achieve this alone. Collaborating with legal firms to promote inclusivity for both their staff and their clients is our goal. We are thrilled to have the Law Society and its members join us on this important journey.”
A number of support and information events are being planned for 2025.
