Sports Law Conference 2017 Resounding Success

Law Society House in Belfast was the venue for the now annual Sports Law Conference 2017.

Now in its sixth year the conference has gone from strength to strength with more members of the legal, medical, sporting and academic professions attending the conference.

This year the theme of the conference was duty of care in sport and attending delegates had an opportunity to hear from key note speakers including Baroness Tanni Grey Thompson.

Commenting the President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland, Ian Huddleston said:

“The Sport and Law Conference has undoubtedly become a fixture in the legal calendar providing a much-needed platform for sporting, medical and legal professionals to come together to discuss issues of importance and to work towards sharing best practice in sport and law. We are once again delighted to provide our support and facilities for the sports and law conference 2017”.
