Society launches new careers bulletin for students and schools

A new careers bulletin has been launched this week which aims to provide local schools and students with information on how to become a solicitor in Northern Ireland.

The new careers bulletin has been launched by the Law Society of Northern Ireland and includes an overview of the solicitor profession its functions and role as well as practical information on how to train, qualify and become a solicitor.

The Society’s President, Brian Archer and Darren Patterson, Head of Professional Development were on hand to officially launch the new careers bulletin at Law Society House.

Commenting after the launch Darren Patterson said:

“The Law Society are delighted to launch the new careers bulletin which we believe will be an important resource for schools, careers teachers, students and those interested in becoming a solicitor in Northern Ireland”.

The President of the Law Society, Brian Archer said:

“If you have a passion for the law, want to contribute to the justice system and feel that you have something to offer then I would encourage you to become a solicitor and make a real difference in your community and beyond. The careers bulletin will help you on that journey”.
