Silent Crisis - A presentation of Films- Human Rights of Refugees

The Law Society of Northern Ireland Immigration Practitioners’ Group, in conjunction with Queen’s University Belfast hosted Silent Crisis - A Presentation of Films relating to the Human Rights of Refugees and Asylum Seekers on Wednesday 20th November 2019 at the Moot Court at Queens University Belfast. 

Attendees had the opportunity to watch the films and participate in a QA and panel discussion which was held after the screening and which was moderated by broadcaster, Declan Harvey.

The Panel included:

Sean Murray, Award Winning Director

Edie Shillue, Writer and Social Campaigner

Sinead Marmion, Secretary of the Society’s Immigration Practitioners’ Group opened proceedings.

Ashleigh Garcia, Chair of the IPG also attended the event.
