Putting Good Mental Health at the heart of the solicitors’ profession

Promoting good mental health is the focus of a new initiative being launched this week by the Law Society of Northern Ireland.

The Society’s new Wellbeing Toolkit recognises the importance of promoting good mental health and providing support to help colleagues, their families and staff in their private and professional lives.

Developed over the course of the last number of months, the new Wellbeing Toolkit will offer practical, accessible and timely information and support.

Commenting, the President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland, Rowan White, said:

“I am delighted to launch the Society’s new Wellbeing Toolkit 2021, which is an important support resource.

The new Toolkit reflects the Society’s ongoing commitment to supporting colleagues, their families and their staff on the important issue of mental health.

This complements the invaluable work of LawCare, with whom the Society has worked closely for many years.

I would encourage all colleagues to use the Toolkit whenever the need arises”.
