President Welcomes Newly Qualified Solicitor's

The President of the Law Society, John Guerin welcomed newly admitted solicitors to the profession during the Society's Admission Ceremony at Whitla Hall at Queen’s University in Belfast on Wednesday 2nd March 2016.

As part of the Ceremony the Registrar of Solicitors, Alan Hunter presented the newly admitted solicitors to the Society’s President and to the Lord Chief Justice for Northern Ireland, Sir Declan Morgan.

Special prizes were awarded to:

 

  • Carlann Majella Knox and Steven Douglas for excellence in the Solicitors Accounts Course 
  • Kathryn Laverty who was awarded the Thomasena McKinney Prize
  • Michael Patrick Allison with the Solicitors' Apprenticeship Prize.
