NIHE House Sales Scheme Suspension Lifted from 17 June 2020

The Housing Executive has made the decision to lift its suspension on house sales to sitting tenants carried out in-house by its Land and Regeneration staff under the Statutory House Sales Scheme (Right to Buy).

The lifting of the suspension is effective immediately from 17th June 2020.

The Housing Executive will now resume normal working arrangements to complete any pending house sale application and/or contract to purchase. Given the expected backlog of applications it may take longer than normal for applications to be processed during the return to business as usual. The Housing Executive ask for applicants patience during this time.
