Mr Hugh Desmond Murray, Solicitor

It is with regret that the Law Society of Northern Ireland notifies members of the passing of Hugh Desmond Murray, Solicitor.

Mr Murray was the founding partner of Murray Kelly Moore Solicitors (as they are now known) which he set up in Arthur Street, Belfast in 1957.

Although Mr Murray was a Bangorian, the practice originally operated mainly from Belfast as a criminal and litigation practice.

This changed in the later 1960's when a Bangor branch was setup operating from Upper Main Street.

This soon became the main branch of the practice and Belfast which became a Sub Office and was closed down in the early 70’s.

The Law Society extends its condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Funeral arrangements

Mr Murray’s funeral will take place on Thursday 10th January 2019 at 10.00 a.m. at St Comgall’s Church, Brunswick Road, Bangor.
