This session will provide an overview of recent decisions and other legal developments involving the use of Social Media and its continuing impact.

The session will be delivered by Emma Hunt, Director, Mills Selig, Belfast. Within Mills Selig, Emma has developed a practice in advising on issues arising out of the use of social media and other online forums. Emma has acted for a local company in one of the first reported decisions in this jurisdiction involving defamatory publications on Facebook.
