LAMS - Legal Aid Digitalisation
The Society is aware of the difficulties being experienced by members as they begin to operate the new LAMS system.
The following web pages are a continuation of the support being provided by the Society on this important issue to members.
We will continue to engage with the Department of Justice / Legal Services Agency (LSA) over coming weeks and months to assess the performance of the system on an ongoing basis and to share the concerns of members at the earliest opportunity.
We recommend that members with problems should continue to raise them directly in the first instance with the LSA through their Call Centre on 028 9040 8888 and report the incident to them. This will facilitate the establishment of an evidence base.
Separately, we are keen to continue to ascertain from members their user experience. The Society is therefore inviting members to download and complete the form below outlining their user experience and highlighting any problems or issues which they have encountered.
