LawCare collaboration with the Open University

Focus groups we want your views

We are delighted to announce that LawCare will be working with the Open University, in 2018, to promote positive emotional and psychological approaches to working in the legal profession.

The project’s objectives are:

  • To prepare and pilot a suite of online educational resources addressing issues relating to emotional self-regulation skills and emotional wellbeing which are common to all sectors of the legal profession;
  • To prepare and pilot a tool kit for employers, professional bodies and other legal institutions to assist in promoting workplace and organisational cultural and institutional change in a way which enhances individual wellbeing.
  • ·To obtain data and feedback on the use of the above resources and tool kit to inform the development of further materials in accordance with the needs of the legal profession as a whole and/or particular sectors.

We want the input of the legal community to ensure these resources are developed in response to your needs. The OU will be facilitating focus groups across the jurisdictions as follows:
