Law Society welcomes Justice Minister's courthouses decision

The Law Society of Northern Ireland has welcomed the decision by Justice Minister, Claire Sugden MLA to keep open the Court buildings in Armagh, Ballymena, Limavady, Lisburn, Magherafelt and Strabane.

Commenting the President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland, John Guerin said:

The Law Society welcomes the decision of the minister who has listened to the Law Society and to the wider community and acted on that. The Society has consistently maintained that courthouses are an integral and important part of local communities throughout Northern Ireland”.
