Law Society of Northern Ireland welcomes Ukrainian Judiciary
The President, Brian Archer recently hosted a delegation of Ukrainian judges who were visiting both Dublin and Belfast.
The purpose of the visit (which was organised by colleagues from Irish Rule of Law International) was to further the judges’ knowledge and understanding in the area of atrocity crimes and to show how both jurisdictions on the island have dealt with post-conflict issues.
In his words of welcome to Law Society House, the President said that the Law Society of Northern Ireland gave its full support to the lawyers and judiciary of Ukraine who continue to ensure the Rule of Law operates for the Ukrainian people against the backdrop of invasion and war.
