Law Society Mentoring Programme 2019/2020
GET AHEAD, GET A MENTOR!
The highly successful Law Society Mentoring programme is now
open for applications with closing date of the 20th May 2019.
This programme was established six years ago with a specific
focus on female Mentors supporting female Mentees in the profession and such
was its success it was expanded to include male colleagues in year four. The
greatest majority of Mentors continue to be successful females gifting their
time and expertise to support others women’s career development.
Mentoring is a partnership through which the Mentor shares
knowledge, skills, information and perspective to support the personal and
professional growth of the Mentee.
We have a highly experienced, skilled, successful and committed
Mentor waiting to work with you over the next 9-12 months.

programme has limited places, is free to Law Society Members and therefore experiences
high demand and so do apply now
What you need to do NOW?
1.
Contact Susan Duffy, CPD Co-ordinator at susan.duffy@lawsoc-ni.org to
register your interest and receive a short Mentee Bio Template.
2.
Complete your Bio Template and
return to Susan Duffy by the 20th May 2019.
3.
Attend the Mentee On-boarding session (date and time TBC) where you will:
* Get an introduction to the Mentoring
Programme
* Explore the strengths and goals
you are bringing to your mentoring relationship
* Discover how to get great
outcomes from your mentoring programme
*
Meet with other Mentees on the programme and ask any questions you may
have
* What will happen next?
Following
your Mentee on onboard you will be matched with
a suitable Mentor and your programme will begin in June 2019.
