Law Society Elects New Junior Vice President

Mr Michael Robinson has been elected as Junior Vice President.

The Law Society of Northern Ireland has elected Mr Michael Robinson, solicitor, as their new Junior Vice President. Mr Robinson was confirmed as the new Junior Vice President following the Society’s Annual General Meeting which took place at Law Society House on Wednesday 30th November 2012.

Speaking after his appointment as Junior Vice President, Mr Robinson said:

“It is indeed an honour and privilege to have been elected as Junior Vice President and to be part of the Presidential and Chief Executive Team for 2012.  

I look forward to working with the Society’s new President, Mrs Imelda McMillan over the coming year on meeting the challenges ahead and realising the opportunities which present themselves to solicitor profession in Northern Ireland”.

Mr Robinson is a senior partner with Cunningham and Dickey Solicitors in Belfast and has served on the Council of the Law Society since 2005 were he has been chairman of a number of committees most notably Client Complaints.
