Description
On Thursday 27 October, Irish Rule of Law International’s Annual Commercial Law Conference will take place at the Distillery Building, 145-151 Church Street in Dublin.
Chaired by Her Honour Ms Justice Caroline Costello of the High Court, the conference will run from 5-7 pm and will be an opportunity to learn about some of the most important topics in current commercial law.
Attendees will be eligible for two CPD points.
The papers confirmed so far are:
Stay Applications - respect of decisions by regulators as there have been two recent judgments on this issue in litigation with ComReg by Eoin Sreenan BL, presented by Catherine Donelly SC
Developments in the summary judgment procedure by Conor Duffy BL, presented by Alan Doherty SC
Recent Developments in Insurance Law by Patrick Longworth, presented by Brian Quigley
Recent Developments Concerning Auditors Liability by Gerard Sadlier, presented by Michael Coonan of McCann FitzGerald LLP
Tickets are priced at €30 for general admission and €15 for students and the newly-qualified. All proceeds will go directly to supporting IRLI’s ongoing work on the ground in Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania and elsewhere.
