Charlene Dempsey Solicitor and Peter Hopkins BL will discuss the ever growing area of injunctions involving social media platforms looking at these cases from the solicitor and counsel perspective.  They will consider some of the leading cases in NI, including:

·         CG v Facebook Ireland & Another [2016] NICA 54,

·         J20 v Facebook Ireland Ltd [2017] NICA 48 and

·         XY v Facebook Ireland Ltd [2012] NIQB 96

and the legal issues arising in respect of liability and quantum.
