Information For Masters Of Trainee Solicitors Attending The IPLS

Queen’s University Belfast announced its decision to suspend face to face teaching on 17  March 2020.

This affects first year trainee solicitors who started their apprenticeship in September 2019 and who are currently attending the Institute.

Queen’s  recommended that all teaching and learning material be provided on line. The University has developed a virtual learning platform  Canvas.

Access to lecture and tutorial materials for trainees at IPLS is available on Canvas.

Although the trainees may not physically be attending  the Institute they are expected to undertake classes and complete work on line and ought not be asked to attend at their offices during this time.

The priority for the trainees will be the completion of their studies during the Institute term.
