Hobbs event raises over £1500 for Presidents Charity
Hobbs & Phase Eight stores in Belfast City Centre
provided the perfect venue for the Society’s recent charity event in support of
Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.
Over
£1500 was raised on the night which will go towards
supporting the President’s charity in its
dedicated research into blood cancer.
Those
attending had the opportunity to network and engage in some retail therapy availing of a special 20%
discount on the night.
Commenting
the President said:
“I
wish to thank everyone who attended and showed their support in raising this
fantastic amount in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI.
Not only did we raise funds for a very worthy charity but it was also an
excellent opportunity for solicitors and colleagues to come together and
network, something we have all missed due to the constraints of the
pandemic.
My
special thanks also to Hobbs & Phase Eight who
facilitated the event at their Belfast Stores”.
Collette McMorrow from Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI said:
“Claire & I were delighted
to attend the Discount Evening; it was lovely to see so many people there,
enjoying each other’s company.
The event was incredibly successful and we want
to thank everyone who attended and donated so generously to blood cancer
research in Northern Ireland!”
