This seminar will be delivered by Angelina Fusco. Angelina was Head of Television News at BBC Northern Ireland until June 2013. She spent over 30 years as a journalist with the BBC. As well as leading the production team of the IFTA award-winning flagship BBC Newsline programme, Angelina introduced and managed the use of digital technologies and social media. In 2010 she was Programme Leader of the Editorial Leadership Foundation at the BBC’s College of Journalism in London. In 2012 she was awarded an Ochberg Fellowship by the Dart Centre for Journalism and Trauma at Columbia University in New York. She has been a visiting professional to Boston College, North Eastern and Iowa universities in the USA and the University of Ulster, Coleraine. She now works as an independent consultant, helping individuals and groups tell their stories more effectively on traditional and digital platforms.
