First time the Presidents of all Law Societies in UK are all women

For the first time ever the Presidents of the Law Societies of Northern Ireland, Scotland and England and Wales are all women.

The President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland, Eileen Ewing joined the President of the Law Society of England and Wales, Chritsina Blacklaws and the President of the Law Society of Scotland, Alison Atack for an impromptu photograph to mark the occasion at a reception in Chicago, USA where they are attending the ABA Annual meeting.

The three Presidents were joined later by the leaders of Law Societies and Bar Associations from the UK, North America and New Zealand.
