First 100 Years Project - Invitation to Women Solicitors

Women solicitors are asked to consider an invitation from the First 100 Years Project which is a national campaign celebrating the centenary of the Sex Disqualification Removal Act 1919, which allowed women to enter the legal profession (and professions more generally) this year.

The First 100 Years Project have been recording biographical films of pioneering women and have an exhibition touring the country that follows a timeline and a podcast series, among other projects.

As part of their celebrations this year, First 100 Years Project are working towards photographing the face of women in the law today.
