From traditional sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts to the more recent arrival of the limited liability partnership, attendees will gain an understanding of the differences between the financial statements of each business format and learn what to look for in understanding how the business is performing. With the advent of the Northern Ireland Charities Commission, delegates will also see what is in a set of Charity accounts and how to interpret the many columns and extensive notes.
This course will be of interest to those who regularly see financial statements in the course of their work and want to have a better understanding of what the figures mean. It is also designed for those in practice as principals, who want to understand business accounts more fully.
The course will also touch on the essential financial management information needed to effectively run and control a business.
This session will be delivered by Paul Mulholland. Paul is a Chartered Accountant and founding partner (with Jeremy Harbinson) in Harbinson Mulholland, Chartered Accountants, based in Belfast.
