There are many risks to a solicitor or law firm if they fail to meet their regulatory obligations under the Data Protection Act. These include a fine of up to £500,000, a criminal record, professional reputation damaged beyond repair or losing your job or practice.

This CPD session will help you identify the risks and how to avoid them.

The sessions will be delivered by Orlagh Kelly, THINKdataprotection.com - a data protection training & consultancy agency which helps lawyers understand and meet their regulatory requirements in data protection through risk assessment and training. Orlagh ran her own legal practice for 12 years before moving into the legal technology field.
