This series of sessions will look at various aspects of the Coroner’s Court practice and procedure. It will provide a breadth of information on the workings of the Court and the procedures employed. The information to be delivered will be essential to any member who appears before a Coroner and will greatly assist in the preparation and presentation of a case for your client/s.
The sessions will include essential information and direction for any practitioner who already appears in the Coroner’s Court, or who hopes to do so.
Counsel to the Coroner will look at the disclosure process focusing on issues which arise, in particular, sensitive and non-sensitive disclosure, redactions (Article 2 & Article 8), Public Interest Immunity (PII) and applications for anonymity and screening of witnesses.
