The application process for accreditation, and re-accreditation, under The Children Order Panel Regulations 2016 is now open. Accreditation is valid for two years and will run from 1st November 2023 to 31st October 2025.


The Children Order Panel 2023 Information Booklet is available for download below.

The Booklet is a dedicated resource for all applicants and provides full details on the Children Order Panel, accreditation procedures and the application process.

It is highly recommended that applicants consult the Booklet carefully in advance of submitting their application as it explicitly outlines what information is required as part of the form and will allow applicants to locate and prepare their responses in advance.


The deadline for applications is:

5.00pm on Friday 15th September 2023

Please note:-

  1. This is a strict deadline and late applications will not be accepted. 

  2. As indicated in the Information Booklet at page 6  “Completion of a formal application by the closing date, together with the prescribed fee ….”. 

You must therefore submit a completed application form and following receipt of the confirmation email with a Unique Payment ID and invoice, transfer the appropriate fee to complete the application process in advance of the deadline [5pm 15th September 2023].


All applications are made exclusively via the online application form which is available HERE.


Each application type has a unique application fee*, as follows. Applicants should refer to the Information Booklet for details on which application type they should select.

Accreditation:               £275.00

Re-Accreditation:         £150.00 

*Application fees are non-refundable.

Applicants should NOT make their application fee payment in advance of submitting their application. Instructions on how to make the payment will be sent directly via email following submission.


Panel application and membership is regulated by The Children Order Panel Regulations 2016. Previous Children Order Regulations prior to 2016 have been repealed. A copy of the respective regulations is available for download below.
