10K Race Aims to Give Solicitors A Run for Their Money
Napier & Sons Solicitors together with North Belfast Harriers, Up and Running Belfast and Belfast City Council are pleased to announce the official launch of this year’s Laganside 10km and FUN RUN which takes place on Sunday 4th September 2011 at 2pm

The 10km will start at the Ozone Leisure Complex on Ormeau Embankment and follows a flat, fast and accurately measured course around the city centre and tow path before finishing back at the Ozone.
There are attractive cash & voucher prizes on offer this year and EVERY finisher will receive a chipped time, refreshments and an £8 voucher which can be redeemed in the Belfast Up and Running store.
The 2011 event also sees the introduction of a new “CORPORATE CHALLENGE” for the first time.
This challenge will provide local employers with a chance to team build, do something active and at the same time raise money for their nominated charity.
Businesses who enter 20 or more people will have £2 per team member donated to a charity by the sponsors.
The following rules apply to the Laganside Corporate Challenge:
- There is no limit to the number of people on a team.
- HOWEVER,only the first three runners from a team will count.
- Runners can only run for one team - a club runner will not be counted in the corporate challenge.

FUN RUN
For those not quite ready for 10km, there is a more relaxed 2.5km Fun Run taking place in Ormeau Park at 1.30pm.
This event is only £4 to enter is open to walkers and runners of all ages and abilities.

Organisers are expecting record numbers in the 10km this year – with over 1000 entrants expected.
