Current Consultation Papers
Below is a list of consultation papers which the Society has been invited by the respective Government Department to comment upon. Each paper is analysed to consider their impact on the profession and the public. Where an issue is identified which the Society wish to comment upon, the issue is researched, views are gathered, a position is adopted and a response is drafted and approved by the relevant Society Committee.
In the preparation of responses Committees welcome the input of practitioners with a particular interest in the subject matter. If you are a practitioner with comments on any of the consultation papers listed below. Please feel free to contact Colin Caughey at the Society or by e-mail at colin.caughey@lawsoc-ni.org.
Your comments will then be forwarded to the relevant committee with responsibility for drafting the Society’s response. Whilst not all views or comments will be adopted all will be considered.
